Spring Registration is Open

Spring Practice Schedule

LEARN to TRAIN - COACHING COURSE

You must be 16 years of age to complete the practical portion of this course.

On field portion is Wednesday April 30th from 4:00 - 8:00pm at the AVJ and will be coached by Steve Weston.

Please sign up and complete the online portion as soon as possible so that it can be processed and you have the green light to complete the on field portion on the 30th.

IMPORTANT! Please communicate the following for your coaches so they can successfully register in time as it will take up to 7-10 days to apply the online theory pre-requisite credit to their Coach Centre account. If they don’t follow these steps, they won’t be able to register for your workshop.

1. Create a Coach Centre account by clicking here. If you already have one, please proceed to step 2.

2. Then register for the online theory (PART 1) by clicking here. You must* use the same Coach Centre full name and email address when you register for the online course.

3. It will take 7-10 days* from when you complete the online theory course for the credit to be applied to your Coach Centre account and only then can you register for the on-field practical workshop (PART 2) to complete your full certification level by clicking here. So please do this well in advance!

SMALL SIDED  - REFEREE CLINIC

Led by Joshua Heuvig

The entry point of officiating Small Sided soccer. Ideal for those looking to officiate age groups up to U13 (5v5 - 9v9 Match Formats).

Course Details:

  • Requirement: 12 Years Old On Or Before Dec 31 Of Current Year

  • Registration Deadline: 5 days prior to the start date.

    • Date: April 27th

    • Time: 9:00am - 4:00pm

    • Location: In class at the Hi Hostel  Boardroom / On field AVJ

Whistler Referees - Please send me your receipt of payment when you register and WYSC will reimburse you for the cost of the course.

The Whistler Youth Soccer Club was established in 1986 and provides affordable, recreational and competitive soccer opportunities to all ages in the community. We run programs from September to June, with the outdoor programs running at the Andrée Vajda Janyk Sports Field in Whistler’s Cheakamus Crossing neighbourhood and the indoor (winter) programs running at Spring Creek Community School.
